Technical Lead with URBANTZ in Porto (Portugal). About Us: URBANTZ is a leading SaaS provider in the logistics management domain. We power clients in Europe and the Middle-East with our planning optimisation solution. The tool generates rounds to deliver packages in the most cost-effective way. As a Technical Lead you will contribute to something big: you will help build a tool that leads to the delivery of millions of packages per year. Today there's a huge gap in terms of R&D between the Amazons' of this world and the average company. Company size: 30 people Total revenue growth in 2018: 500% Our Technology: The URBANTZ solution has been developed from scratch over the past three years. Or main technologies are React Native, AngularJS, Node. JS and MongoDB. Release cycle: 1 MONTH;We do unit tests in Jest;Version management in git;Deploy using a CI and track our issues and stories in Jira; Recently we're using Elasticsearch to search in vast amounts of data. Our next project is porting our infrastructure to Kubernetes. The opportunity: We want to set up high performing product teams around the world, starting by Porto. As the first person residing in Porto we give you the opportunity to build up and coordinate your own team while working closely with the Brussels HQ. The secret weapon in this collaboration is a very strong trust relationship with the HQ management team. Ideally you will juggle between being a software developer, systems architect, business analyst and team leader. Of course you will be fully supported in this challenging task by our international team. You: You can get things done and communicate well while doing it; You work autonomously and you like handling a wide variety of responsibilities; You are fluent in English; You have at least 5 - 10 years relevant team lead experience. You are open to travel to our Brussels HQ once in a while. A strong knowledge of some of the following technologies: Node.js React Native AngularJS MongoDB Elasticsearch Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, …) Docker / Kubernetes
