This call is governed by this Announcement, the Research Grants Regulation of the University of Coimbra (RBI-UC), supplemented by the Research Grants Regulation of the Foundation for Science and Technology (RBI-FCT), the Research Grant Holder Statute (EBI), and other applicable national and EU legislation. II - Grant location:Department of Informatics Engineering of the University of Coimbra III- Scientific supervision/coordination of the grant:Professor Bruno Miguel de Oliveira Sousa and Professor Vasco Nuno Sousa Simões Pereira IV - Work Plan / Goals to be achieved:Title: Assessment of event management and security information systems Description: The work to be developed within the scope of this scholarship will support the activities carried out by the "Networks, Communications, and Security" (NCS) group of the Center for Informatics and Systems of the University of Coimbra (CISUC) and will consist of the evaluation of Security Information and Event Management Systems (SIEMS), in the context of the Cyber-Security Lab. Work plan:Installation and configuration of vulnerable components (virtual machines, containers);Installation of SIEM systems - Configuration of agents for data collection in SIEM systems;Configuration of SIEM systems;Evaluation of SIEM systems.V - Initial grant duration:Three (3) months.
